Bugger -- Expletive similar to “damn”
Bugger All -- “Nothing,” as in “I’ve done bugger all on my research”

Cheers -- “Thank you” or “Goodbye”
Chemist -- Drug store, pharmacy
Chips -- French fries
Common, Green -- Park
Courgette -- Zucchini
Crisps -- Potato chips
Daft -- Silly
Dosh -- Money, cash
Duvet -- Bedspread
Fanny -- Obscene term for a part of the female anatomy
Fag -- Cigarette
Football -- Soccer
Git -- Jerk
Half Ten -- 10:30a.m./p.m.; half past the hour
Johnny -- Slang term for a condom
Jumper -- Sweater
Knackered -- Tired, worn out
Knickers, Pants -- Underwear
Lager, Bitter -- Beer, ale
Lift -- Elevator
Loo -- Bathroom, toilet
Naff -- Uncool
Napkin -- Sanitary napkin
Off-license -- Liquor store
Oxfam -- Thrift store/used clothing shop
Pissed -- Drunk

Public School -- Private School
Rubber -- Eraser
Rucksack -- Backpack
Serviette -- Table napkin
Sod Off -- “Get lost,” “Go away,” as in “Why don’t you just sod off?”
State School -- Private School
**I wonder if this definition was supposed to be public school and this is a typo, since “Public School” was already defined as private school.**
Sweets -- Candy
Take the Piss -- To tease or taunt, as in “Don’t be upset; she’s just taking the piss of you.”
Tights -- Pantyhose
Tosser -- Loser
Trousers -- Pants
Wanker -- Jerk

Here's one that's not on the list: Winger (pronounced win-jur)It means someone who is a whiner.
Also look for fun food terms:
lemonade = 7up or some other lemon-lime flavoured soda, NOT the yellow uncarbonated drink we call by te same name
savouries = salty snacks
bangers = sausages
marmite = well, I'll let you read the label for what it contains...suffice it to say it's black, and they spread it on dry toast (in Australia/New Zealand, it's called vegemite) and think it's delicious!
Champers (pronounced shamp-urz) = champagne
